DESCRIPTION

-This performer Sprints in a seated position and demonstrates a pattering type of stride pattern and associated arm action

- Low hip position

- Low knee lift

- Flat feet

- Prevents full rear leg extension and results in a incomplete stride length

COACHING POINTS

- These faults can be caused by a poor hip flexibility or poor strength in the arches of the feet and weak quadriceps muscles

- Where as the expert performer demonstrates full extension of the whole of the driving leg to achieve an optimal stride length
