
Simple warm up drill with players lined up behind cones in two rows, facing each other. Players on one side are numbered with even numbers, those on the opposite side given even numbers. Coach calls out one even number and one odd number. The nominated players must sprint to collect the cone that has been vacated by the opposing player. The cone is picked up and returned to their "home" station. The first player to place the cone back on their position is the winner. Progressions More than one set of players called at a time. Team race. Also call a coach name. Players must run around outlying coach before heading to the opposite cone.
