
Each player to choose a partner, and face each other 10 feet away from each other. Give demonstration on correct stance, and why. Play a ball towards the partner, using differing techniques. E.g. punt a ball to partner, then receive a punt back. Repeat. 1st Drill: Punt to partner. Catch a punt, and then return to partner. Variations: Throwing to stomach for "cradle" catch, passing to feet for scoop. 2nd Drill: One player to lay on side. Place cones to make forward facing diagonal line next to player. Partner must then pass the ball, and player makes easy dive in front of the cones. Switch sides. Variations: Partner to throw ball in the air and player to catch mid air.
