
Instructions:Progress Through Cones: Players move through the cones using the specified footwork pattern. After completing the pattern, they immediately sprint to the final cone. Footwork Patterns: Round 1: One Foot Per Space Step quickly through the cones, placing one foot between each space. Sprint to the final cone. Reps: 2 Round 2: Two Feet Per Space Place both feet in each space between the cones (right foot, then left foot). Maintain a controlled rhythm and quick movement. Sprint to the final cone. Reps: 2 Round 3: Hopscotch Pattern Start with feet together, jump forward to land with one foot between the cones, alternating feet as you progress. Sprint to the final cone. Reps: 2 Round 4: Slalom Pattern Weave around the cones, using quick lateral movements. Keep the ball of the foot engaged for balance and speed. Sprint to the final cone. Reps: 2
Coaching Points:Technique: Stay light on your feet and on the balls of your feet for quicker movement. Maintain control and balance during each pattern. Body Position: Keep your knees slightly bent and stay low for better agility. Use your arms for balance and momentum. Transition to Sprint: Finish the cone work with an explosive sprint to the final cone. Focus on pushing off powerfully with your last step. Intensity: Perform each drill with maximum effort and precision. Encourage players to focus on form over speed initially, increasing intensity as they become comfortable with the movements.
