Feeder hits the ball from the bat - start with ground ball. Fielder at black arrow needs to get over the stumps to receive the underarm throw. He then rolls it out, it is picked up and thrown at the stump; then back up person fields the throw then returns it to the WK/feeder. Repeat. Variation: 1. Hit longer ground ball and person on black arrow gets around to back up overarm throw at first stumps. Repeat rest of drill. 2. Hit flat catch or high catch to first fielder, then bounce overarm throw at first stump. Rest of drill stays the same.
1. Get to the stumps or in position to back up as quickly as possible 2. Stay low and get to the ball in strong position 3. Intensity to attack the ball.
