DESCRIPTION

Serve Receive competition

  • Divide into 4 teams of 3
  • 2 teams on serving side take turns serving one-at-a-time
  • 1 team in serve receive on court
  • 4th team as target and shaggers 
  • set time limit for passers to get as many good passes to target
  • switch groups after time is up

COACHING POINTS

Passers

  • control passing
  • comminucation
  • player movement
  • anticipation of serve

Servers

  • agressive serves
  • make players move
  • short in front of 10'line or deep corners
