Nick, Tennis coach

DESCRIPTION

This is a fun tennis warmup game for children.

  1. Give each player a ribbon or a piece of fabric for them to place it in the back of their shorts like a "Tiger Tail ".
  2. Remind the children they have to keep the tail long, do not hide it!
  3. Ask players to spread out around the court and explain the boundaries are, use cones to set up the boundaries.
  4.  The boundaries are the doubles sideline, baseline, and the net, they must stay inside.
  5. When the coach gives signal to start, players start moving around trying to steal the tails from the other players and to protect their own tails.
  6. Do this for a certain amount of time or until no one has a tail anymore.
  7. When the game is over, the winner is the one who could collect more tails.

Safety:

  1. Explain to the children they cannot use their hands to avoid other children from stealing their tails.
