Typically a ball machine drill, players form two lines at the baseline. First shot is at the baseline, then player attacks for a mid-court volley, then attacks for a put away shot at the net. After the player has hit all three shots, they return to the back the other line.
Coaches should determine down-the-line or cross-court shots for players. Deuce side should be forehand shots and Ad side should be backhand shots. Coaches should adjust approach shots to player skill level.
