4 players, two on each side of net.
On both sides of the net, place 3 sheets of notebook paper 1/2-way between the net and the NVZ Line. (One at the center and one on each side about 4’ from the center) Put a pebble or 2 on the paper to hold it in place. You may also use blue release tape or chalk to create 3 boxes instead.
Using 2 balls and the 2 outer papers as targets, two players dink back and forth from the NVZ Line trying to keep the dink close to the target. GOAL: 20 dinks in a row per pair of players.
The drill is repeated with each player now taking steps to the LEFT.
play a game to 6, using dinks only. first dink must be straight across the center of the net to your opponent. after the first dink, you can dink anywhere. fault occurs if your dink lands past your opponents NVZ line, failure to get the first dink over the net, or dink lands beyond the sidelines. NO SLAPSHOT RETURNS—dinks only.
