DESCRIPTION

Organisation:
Shape 1 4 3 v 3 3 plus target player.
Start point blue keeper passes to the blue defender to establish good
possession in order to score by passing through either of the three
gates at the target area.
The red team must establish a line of pressure in order to disturb the
blues build up.
When the red team regain possession they transition to attack by
scoring.

Focus points:
Identify and establish a line of pressure.
Be compact relative to the line of defense.
Defend as a team, unit, and individual. (Screen, mark, delay
and cover).
Establish triggers for pressing the opposition to make a play
predictable. (Arc defending runs to force one way)
Recovery runs to close gaps between units in transition
(between ball and goal)
The ball must be pressed in dangerous areas, no ball watching.
Disciplined and patient in executing decisions.

Duration 25 min

Before training, explain to the players the structure of the training, the goals, and objectives of the training session

Coaching in the flow
