- the midfield has a 4 v 4 at all times
- The end zone will always have a 3v1 or 3v2 (if the midfielder is quick enough)
- the midfield will have a 4v4 or if the attacking midfielder doesn't get back 4v3
- the line down the middle of the pitch prevents the left sided players ( left back and left midfield ) entering the RH half of the pitch and vice versa.
