Possession game between three teams of five players each. the game is divided in three zones, two possession zones and one interception zone.
In this case, the red team starts with the ball, they have to make a minimum of four passes before trying to send the ball to the yellow team waiting on the opposite zone.
The bleu team sends two players into the possession zone to try to recover the ball. the three bleu remaining players stay in the middle and try to intercept the ball when the red team attempts to send the ball to the yellow team.
The team that loses the control of the ball becomes the team in the middle and has now to recover and intercept.
The main goal in this exercise is to find small spaces in order to keep the ball. then the team with the ball has to find the right moment and the right space to send the ball between the interception zone.
Variations
Number of limited touches by player.
Number of passes before sending the ball to the opposite team.
Working with two balls at the same time, each ball in each possession zone. then trying to cross two balls without the defending team intercepting the ball.
Putting emphasis more on the mouvements of the players not having the ball rather than the movement of the player with the ball. It is not about the carrier of the ball finding the space but his teammates creating that space for him.
Occupying the full size of the filed in order to create more space.
