DESCRIPTION

  • When ball is won, looking to attack through the wide areas through the cones in order to move the ball up the field.
  • Transitional game -when the ball is won, players position ready to attack and try to play through wide channels in order for to score a goal.

COACHING POINTS

  • How to we adapt our positioning when in posession?
  • We're looking at the timing of movement and option being given.
  • Not forcing the pass. Can we change direction of play and switch if one channel is covered. Be patient until the opportunity comes, and what movement is needed to create that opportunity.
  • Can we look to play the ball wide early?
