Set up a large circle using cones
You can use 2 or 3 central players in the circle
Set 4 players around the circle (or more depending on the drill.
Instructions
Simply play the ball into the central player to start. He passes to the next player in line.
Player must run or 1 -2 (depending on your drill) to each cone and at each cone perform either a skill or a sharp 1-2. After each trick he must exchange a pass with either the near by coach or a central player.
Have a different skill or routine at each cone.
Ensure to set up your routine so that it flows player to player and the central players are not just standing still but need to rotate.
Look for tempo. Speed up after the players have already been round once.
Look for players getting better at each skill.
This will be a strenuous drill for central players as they need to rotate, so change them every 2 rotations of players who have gone round.
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
