DESCRIPTION

Cones are now centered from the base line, working in the whole of the goal. Keeper has to go through the cones facing forwards, at each cone a dive should be executed, following the Set, Step and dive protocol.

6 shots = 1 set

2 sets each side

Jog back = recovery time

30 seconds after set

Equipment needed
Footballs x 4
Cones x 4
Goal x 1

Dive with footwork

P - Fast feet through cones, on toes, small short sharp steps over or through. Side step out from post. Body in set position (nose over toes)

A – Body collapses, either catch or parry is made to side and knee extends up to chest height.

R – Knee extends pushing keeper back to feet and in to ready stance. Walk back to centre of goal (Recovery Period.
