Matt

DESCRIPTION

Large rectnagle further split into smaller grids

1vs1 in each grid - players have to remain in their grid.

1 ball between each pair

Players are playing a 1vs1 and have to keep ball away from partner as long as possible. If partner gets it, then roles reverse.

Progressions

  • make it competitive and introduce a points system.
  • play panna rules
  • play line ball
  • add a floater who will go around and make 2vs1s in eavh grid to help keep the ball. This will get the players to get their head up and try to find the floater and be aware of when he is near, so they can then pass to them. This just adds a bit of context and a passing decision to the practice. Stay on the ball, and try to find a passing option.
