DESCRIPTION

  • split players into groups of 3
  • 1 thrower, 1 receiver and 1 defender
  • player 1 signals for player 2 to make a move away for him to then move back in to receive the ball and play it back to player 1, player 2 then moves into space to receive the pass
  • progress to throwing the ball over player 2 and the defender for player 2 to run on to

COACHING POINTS

  1. 2 feet on the ground
  2. ball is released above your head with 2 hands
  3. thrower has to step into play to receive the ball back
