DESCRIPTION

Set up ladders and cones as shown. Make sure to leave plenty of room between each manoeuvre. 

Players start behind a cone and take it in turns. They first have to use quick feet to get through the ladders, then pick up a football at the end of the cone. 

Then they dribble round the next white cone and dribble in and out of the red cones as shown. A quick change of direction to the right will see the players complete another dribbling maneouvre around each of the blue cones as shown.

At the end of the blue cones, players must leave their footballs and carry on with the rest of the circuit, which consists of side-steps and then a long sprint once they've got past the second to last white cone. Players then join the back of the line, ready to go again.

COACHING POINTS

This drill combines dribbling with fitness, and requires good ball control and quick movements.

Coaches should be encouraging players to keep looking up whilst they're dribbling with the ball and focus on their technique. Coaches should also encourage players to use both feet.
