Players will pair up with each other. They will take turns to dribble to the end line and back, using a specific part of the foot (inside, outside, sole, laces).
The next progression will be a speed relay. Same activity but which pair can do it the fastest?
The final progression will be to add cones as obstacles in the middle of the dribbling area. Players will have to avoid these cones to continue to the end line.
30 minutes for this activity.
- Emphasis on small, close touches to retain good control throughout the activity.
- Keeping their head up so they know when to turn and also for avoiding the cones, much like they have to avoid players in a game situation.
