Multi-Lateral - Striking with the Instep - 4v4 GK's

Very good interactive coaching drills.

DESCRIPTION

Striking Game

  • Fairly small pitch needed depending on strength of strikes from players
  • 3v1 in each half.
  • Players must stay in own half
  • Aim of the game is to shoot as often as possible.
  • 3 goals scored if a team scores from their defensive halves
  • 1 goal scored if the striker scores (most probably from a rebound)

Progress:

  • Players can move anywhere but the scoring system remains the same (3 points for own half)

Coaching Points:

  • If your shooting channel is blocked by a defender can you pass to someone who can shoot
  • Same points as previous activities
