The Triangle Goal Soccer Game will focus on all aspects of the game such as passing, moving, and finishing. The players will have to work together as a team to quickly off-balance the defender and catch the goalkeeper off guard.
- Create a square for the drill to be inside, the size of the square can be adapted e.g. made smaller to make it harder or bigger to make it easier as it gives the performers more space. Also change the size depending on age (intensity level) and skill level.
- Place a goalkeeper inside the triangle of cones and split teams into 4v4, both teams need to attack the triangle goal. The keeper will need to defend all three sides of the triangle/goal, if a team scores a goal a point is awarded to the team and the opposition are given the ball to start. If the goalkeeper makes a save, then they must distribute the ball to an open space away from the players.
Focus on on all aspects of the game such as passing, receiving, moving with and without the ball, defending, attacking, and finishing.
