1. 2 players in the middle (blue) dribble ball in the free space and strike the ball out to the players (orange) on the perimetre cones. Orange players strike the ball back at blue players.
2. Blue players continue striking the ball to each orange player on perimetre cones.
Progression 1.
1. When blue players are increasing striking skills, focus on taking the ball and turning, ready to strike the orange player in the opposite direction (not working in a circular direction).
2. Orange players on the perimetre strike the ball back to the blue players in front of them so the blue players run onto the ball.
Progression 2.
1. Increase the perimetre size so the striking passes are longer and stronger.
1. Only strike the ball when the passing line is 'open'. Make sure someone else is not passing to the same player.
2. Strike precisely and at correct speed.
3. Keep head up, be aware of other players striking in the same area as you.
