Using half a pitch, players to play 3v3.
The attacking 3 are attacking 1 large goal whilst the defensive 3 consists of 1 goalkeeper and 2 defenders who are to attack the 2 small goals.
This is an opportunity for players to recall last sessions coaching points around creating space (checking your run, coming short then long, coming long then short) and display in a conditioned game.
Defensive team are to show the same attacking principles but with 1 outfield player less they are to be encouraged to counter fast and work together and not allow the team of 3 to organise themselves.
-Can the attacking team create 2v1 scenarios and take advantage of the extra player
-Can the players recall and show from previous sessions examples of creating space with various movements and by making the pitch wide rather than narrow.
-Can the player in possession of the ball show effective decision making (dribble/pass/shoot)
-Can the player in possession draw a defender out of position to create space for a team mate.
