DESCRIPTION

Positions to take up when the centre half has the ball in his half. This does not change until they reah our half, this animation could be on the edge of their box, half way in the half or where it is. The structure is still the same.

COACHING POINTS

- Striker; takes up positions to split the lines and make a pass forwards hard for the CB.

Wingers; If the ball is your side you get infront of their full back so if he gets the ball he has nowhere to go other than backwards. If the play is the opposite wing, you get close to the nearest CB to you, to make any pass to him tough.

Att Mid: You get around the deepest lying midfielder to make any pass to him tough.

Cent Mid: You pick up their other midfielder,

Def Mid: You take a space 5 to 8 yards deeper than our CM  filling any gap that may apear for a through ball between our CB and full back.

Full backs; if the ball is nearer your side, you push to the winger to make any pass tough to him. If your further from the ball, you tuck in closer to the CB's.

CB; you make sure that you are the right side of any striker so if he turns he turns away from goal and towards the full back.
