Because all the players arrive seperately as they are ready we will put them into 5 v 2 rondos in 10x15 yd grids.
We will then move to group dynamic stretch using the blue cones as our guides.
Next will be passing lines in pairs playing 2 touch then 1 touch over 10 yards then move to 20 yards. To finish the passing we will have flighted balls played over the 20 yards to be controlled in the air and then passed back in the air.
Last we will go to either a 5 v 5 or a 4 v 4 + 2 possession game with the 10 starters while the 8 subs go through a shooting drill to warm up the keeper.
1) on the 5 v 2 good ball movement is key.
2) on the dynamic stretch make sure they are getting a stretch not just going through the motions.
3) on the passing make sure they are on their toes, and the quality of the touch is there.
4) on the possession game communication, quick ball movement and constant off the ball movement is key.
5) shooting drill is to warm up the keeper and get movement, want quality strikes with proper technique.
