Build a 10 x 10 grid.
Players line up, each with a ball, about 10 yards outside the grid.
On coach's "Go!," players will attempt to pass their ball in and have it come to rest inside the grid. They should play a strong enough pass to make it into the grid, but not so strong that it runs through.
As the players have some success, progress to a 7 x 7, then 5 x 5 grid to increase the degree of difficulty.
Stress playing the ball with the side foot or instep, instead of the toe.
Praise the EFFORT, not only the successes.
