Organisation:
30m x 30m square split into 2 equal sections
Any number of players but must be two defenders in each of the two sections. Above I have shown 4 v 1 or 2 (x2) = 12 players
Objectives:
This is a moving 'rondo', where the teams play 4 v 1 possession games. After they have made three passes, they all continue to pass and retain possession from the defenders but move into one of the two other boxes that are free.
The defenders carry bibs to identify themselves and rotate roles every 2 minutes.
This drill requires communication and teamwork, along with demonstration of good technique of passing and control.
Tactical - working as a team; communication
Technical - Passing; control
Social - fun, teamwork
Psychological - decision making processes
