DESCRIPTION

SETUP

  • Make starting line one endline
  • Mark out 100 yards from start
  • Mark out 25 yards from finish

INSTRUCTIONS

  • *Groups may need to be made depending on the number of players.
  • Players line up at the starting line
  • On coaches command, players sprint 100 yards

*(Coach records time of last player).

  • Once 100 yard sprint is finished, players do walking lunges to the 25 yard mark then jog the rest of the way back.

COACHING POINTS

  • Players will do 4 sets
  • Coach times first 3 sets then notify players of time requirements of the last set.

*Time requirements - preferably the middle time (not fastest, not slowest).
