<p>Set up three traingles of cones approximately 10 metres apart.</p><p>Place different colour cones 5 metres back from the outside cones of each triangle.</p><p>You do not need any footballs for this part of the exercise.</p><p>Concentration & teamwork are essential to this exercise.</p>
<ol><li>Begin by having each player on an inside (single) cone turn to their left and sprint to the spare cone in the next group along. Meanwhile the players remaining in their group turn and sprint to the cone behind them. Once there they check out and run to the next cone in their group. Once every player has been around the full circuit (ie. 3 long sprints and 6 short) repeat in the opposite direction (if you have time).</li><li>Similar rotation of players but this time the outside players start on the outside cones and attack their orange cones in front before moving off to the next cone in their rotation.</li><li>Add a central cone that the long sprint players must attack before checking to their destination cone. Outside players should back up to their blue cone before sprinting back to their start point then sprinting round to the next cone.</li></ol>
