Love the site, it's a fantastic learning tool!

DESCRIPTION

Select an area appropriate for your your age based on desire for more fitness or more control.

  • Large area will result in longer runs
  • smaller area is more starts and stops

I would start with a 15 x 15 box.
Use two different colored cones.
Distribute roughly 5 cones per team based on same principles outlined above.  (minefield style)
All cones start each round up  (+5 vs +5)

Play as a relay
Divide the players into two teams.

A round of play should be 1v1 lasting 30-60 seconds.
Goal is to have the most upright cones at the end of the round.

Round of Play:
Each player will have a ball and dribble toward a cone. When they reach the cone they must stop the ball and then may turn the cone over.
They may turn over their own or their opponents no restrictions.
At the end of the round count the upright cones and determine a winner.

Standard skill variants apply:

  • Only work with one foot?
  • Perform a skill before flipping (scissors/toe touches/bells)

Advanced variants:

  • Make it a passing game?
  • Make points carry over from round to round rather than reset?  If get all 5 cones flipped add pugg to finish game?
