SAQ - Plyo and Sprint

DESCRIPTION

Divide teams up into two teams and face sprinting course. Players to race each other (select like players in terms of speed). Encourage players to run through line at end of 20 yards.

Variations using five yard area before: 2/3 hops high impact on lower body then conversion of height energy into forward sprint technique, Zig Zag with poles and sprin, Mini team v team shuttle before 20 yard dash. 

COACHING POINTS

- Speed and Agility: transfer of upward energy into horizontal as quickly as possible.

- High intensity with breaks.
