SAQ - Ladders and Sprint

DESCRIPTION

Split group up into two teams and have each facing a ladder (or 3 ladders combined).

Players to go through ladders using various movements and motions, followed by a quick 15 yard sprint at the end of each repetition. After this player goes down the other ladder opposite in a continuous circular movement.

Variations - Slow Lunges (hurting quadriceps), two feet in each, one foot in each, exaggerated running technique (dancing).

Players can also check between two outside cones to demand one more type of movement before sprint.

COACHING POINTS

- Speed and Agility in transfering lateral motion into forward sprint.

- Power in legs as going through ladder at speed.
