The final progression of this exercise is designed to really work on players decision making and passing quality.
It also requires players to work in groups to turn the ball over and if doing so the now defending group to organsie quickly in an attempt to revocer the ball.
Use the same setup as before.
In this phase of the exercise players are asked to play the same basic version of the game.
However, when the player recieves the ball on the line rather than simply restarting play they now have to pass the ball back into play from the line before driving into the playing area.
When doing so, the player who passed them the ball replaces them on the line and looks to provide a passing option for their team mates to make a scoring pass.
Progress by asking players to play with a maximum of 2 or 3 touches.
