Football Drill Demonstration

Description

This exercise is a progression of Phase One and puts players into a more dynamic setting.

Coaching points

Use the same setup as before.

In this phase of the exercise players are asked to play the same basic version of the game.

However, when the player recieves the ball on the line rather than simply restarting play they now drive into the playing area with the ball at their feet and look to offload at pace or make a scoring pass.

When doing so, the player who passed them the ball replaces them on the line and looks to provide a passing option for their team mates to make a scoring pass.

Progress by asking players to play with a maximum of 2 or 3 touches.
