For this exercise I will create a scenario, I need 1 GK, 2 CBs and 1 CDM, each of this players will have their own marked out area to learn their positioning in an actual game, I will start with one attack going towards the CDM, the CDM should be successful in a 1v1 situation, if this isn’t the case if the attacker successfully surpasses the CDMs area and enters the CMs area, this means the CDM has to drop deeper into a CM role meaning this team now has 3 at the back making harder for the attacking team to score.
This exercise will be processed to having more attackers making difficult for the defending team. We will practice this system over and over again.
