Your tips and session ideas have really brought some interest back...
Eifion, Rugby Coach

DESCRIPTION

This is sessions will start with two defenders and one attacker. The sessions will start with the attacker starting to move towards the goal line, One defender will move towards the attacker and try and stop thm front gaining a point.

The second defeneder will sit back when the first defender moves towards the attacker, The reason the second defender will sit back is because the if the attacker makes it past the first defender then they will are the last defence before the attacker gains a point.

COACHING POINTS

  • Make sure the first defender pushes forward straight away.
  • Once the first defender has pushed forward the second defender needs to make sure they sit back and position themselves correctly.
  • If the attacker gets past the first defender then they will need to turn back and help out with the second defender to stop the attacker
