1. The game is about creating a defensive line as a team in defense of a kick.
2. Two hand touch.
3. Red team kicks to the Blue team that is standing behind blue cones. When Blue team recieves the ball they run and pass to avoid defenders. Blue scores beyond Orange gain line.
4. Red team runs to form a defensive line after the kick.
5. Red cannot engage Blue in two hand touch until all Red team members are accross Orange gain line.
6. After 4 times switch sides.
7. Once both sides have had a turn. Repeat game but now defense must make it to Red gain line to initiate two hand touch.
1. Defense team must work with pace and in unison towards gain line to be effective in defense.
2. Communication! Decision makers lead team in establishing gain line defense. Encourage and direct.
3. Call signs. Kicking team establishes call sign to indicate kick. Defensive call - who has the ball carriers?
4. Defense organize defensive line and channels to create desired pressure on attacking team.
