Rugby Drill Demonstration
Bounding over hurdles to improve power.
1. Make a box with four hurdles and get your player to stand in middle.
2. Call left, right, forwards and back and they have to jump over that hurdle but stay facing forwards.
3. Make them do squat jumps and then 1 leg jumps.
- Call left or right and once they've jumped over hurdle they have to sprint forwards 5/10meters.
- Do the same as abouve but have them facing away from you so they have to jump over then turn before they sprint.
