DESCRIPTION

  • 3 attackers stand in a line and the 2 defenders start in the corner as shown. 
  • The attackers are only allowed to pass in one direction.
  • The aim of the defence is to use drift defence to force he attackers into the other corner and make the tackle there.
  • It is up to the inside defender to communicate which player he is marking and to push the outside defence onto the next man. 

COACHING POINTS

  • Ensure players maintain constant communication In defence.
