This drill although not completely unrealistic to what a match scenario could entail, will be two defenders defending one shooter. This is to push the individuals so that if success is achieved in an unrealistic and extreme scenario then they will have more confidence moving forward when the conditions are returned back. In this drill there will be one feeder and one shooter with two defenders. In this drill the defenders will only be able to defend once the shooter has possession of the ball. This ensuring that some progression can be made and the conditions are not extremely difficult to the point where it will harm the shooter's confidence. The aim of this drill will be for the shooter to claim the rebound when applicable before the defenders. Due to the difficulty of this drill if it is not working a discussion between myself and the players will occur to see how we can overcome the difficulties they are facing.
