This drill is called 'bow'
The ball is coming down the court and the black WD has the ball, because C is the closest to the ball she will sprint to the middle cone and change direction to the top cone, this way she will lose her defender and their will be no pressure on the passer.
Now that the centre has the pass the WA will sprint to the top right cone, dodge and sprint to the top of the circle
The aim of this drill is to create space and options when the shooters are not ready for the ball, also means alot of work from the midcourters and for the WD and GD to stand at the transverse line for a reset option.
The aim to get the mid courters to come off the circle edge and reset to give the shooters time.
One midcourter will come off the cirlce edge as a reset option to the other midcourter who has the ball, as a rest option she will recieve and pass the ball straight back to the midcourter who passed the ball.
This way they have another 3 seconds and are still on the circle edge
