Set Up: Players will be spilt into two equal teams, where they are required to try and keep possession of the ball.
Description: One team starts with the ball i.e white teams and tries to make 5 consecutive passes. The other team i.e black team is defending the team with the ball and trying to get possession before white team reaches 5 passes. If the black team does obtain possession it is a turn over and now the white is defending and trying to get another turn over. The first team that has gets the 5 consecutive passes wins.
Coaching Tips/Questions to think about: - Encourage the teams to communicate with one another to keep possession of the ball. - Encourage the players to look at their options and to evaluate which choose would be the best option i.e someone with no defenders on them and is in an open space compared to someone with two players on them and is in a cramped space. - Allow the players to be independent and to think for themselves
