With a group of 8 or more. Players need to split into even groups on 4 corners of a square. 2 balls must start in opposite corners.
Players will receive the ball from their left to start with.
1. The first players in line A and B start with the ball.
2. The first player in line C drives to the centre cone to receive the ball from the first player in line B, simultaneously player 1 in line D drives and receives the ball.
3. Both players release the ball in the centre (1) - (2) release the ball to the player opposite them.
4. Repeat...
Players need to be ready to receive the ball - signalling where they would like to receive the ball. Encourage players to land 1-2 (footing) then release the ball. This should minimise stepping. Encourage players to communicate with one another throughout the whole practice - this will also help develop team cohesion.
