For the main drill, you will have to get into threes with one ball. You will have a feeder, a defender and a worker. The worker will have to work round the defender to try and recieve the ball from the feeder. For the first progression you will only be coming forward for the ball and recieve a chest pass. You will do this 10 times before switching over.
For the second progression, you will still be in your threes but you will have to recieve each of the 5 passes twice which we have been practising but the ball has to be received by you and not be touched or intercepted by the defender. This will test your movement with a defender and how good you are at moving and dodging away from your defender. After you have done 10 successful passes before switching over so everyone gets a go at everything. This is also the worker desicion to remember which passes they have already done so that they don't do too many.
Progression three will be in groups of 5. There will now be one feeder, two defender and two workers. The two workers will be working together to try and recieve alternate passes from the feeder while trying to get away for their defenders. They will have to do 5 passes each before everyone switches round but the 5 passes have to be 5 of the passes which they have learned in the practice drill.
