Throught court attack - A2 options

DESCRIPTION

15-20 mins:

Min:  6-8 players

  • 3 Shooters
  • 3 Defence
  • 2 Mid court

1/2 Court

1 Ball

8 spots/cone

 

  1. C Starts with the ball.
  2. GA drives into a straightline pass from C.
  3. GA returns pass to C.
  4. GA drives into a pass from C at the orange cone/spot.
  5. GA passes to WA

Option 1 - Baseline option:

  1. GS receives a pass from WA at the black cone/spot and takes a shot.

(Simultaneously)  

  1. GA drives into the goal circle following the black arrow to support the GS shot.
  2. C drives to the green cone/spot to support team.

Option 2:  Circle edge Option

  1. GS Drives to the green cone/spot.
  2. GA drives the green arrow to the black cone/spot receiving a pass from WA.
  3. GA takes a shot.

(simultaneously)  

  1. GS drives back into the goal circle to support the shot
  2. C drives to the green cone/spot.

Once the shot is successful players reset into starting positions.

Swap sides so players are practicing driving both sides.  Starting from the other red cone.

GA, C and WA swap sides
