With my two players I made sure that they could get out for centre passes therefore I worked on sprinting out and getting out quickly on a centre pass, followed by cutting back in. Both of the girls had a go at attacking and defending. Secondly i shown them how to cut back inside again.
Strengths:
- The two players understand why driving back onto the ball was important and were able to cut back inside to recieve the ball successfully on centre passess
- The attacking player beat the defender every time as cutting back inside isolated the defender therefore 100% pass reciving is successful, also allowing for the other attacker to get free in a game
weaknesses:
-The change in direction by planting one foot to turn away needs to be quicker to avoid the defender catching up
-The sprint needs to be quicker to turn the body away from the defender in ensuring that they cannot intercept or come across play
