Goal:
speed, agility and opponent awareness
Tag game
* zone A, normal tag game, tagger stays tagger for 1.5 min.
* if you are tagged you have to do in front of trainer a pull back with change direction to right and pull back with change direction to left .
If trainer says okay then you can go in again.
Stick skill
* pull back with change direction to the left
* half players in circle without ball, only stick. Other half ball + stick.
* 2 min long players with ball dribble around and at opponent pull back and change direction to the left.
* then change roles
NB the pp who are standing can do a bit of defending with the stick, but no sweeping balls away.
Pull back
* ball from front foot to back foot
* use Indian grip (left hand turns stick, right hand stays same)
Change to the left:
* pull ball to back foot,
*while pulling the ball to back foot you move your feet: a) right (back) foot moves backwards
b) left foot moves further backwards than right foot and steps out to left
c) now right foot is in front and left foot behind.
* ball is by pulling on former back foot position, bring ball to your left side (next to your left foot) so your body is between ball and opponent.
