Star Traverse Spacial perception

I love using Sportplan. It's been a great help for co-ordinating hockey...
Laura, Hockey Coach

DESCRIPTION

1. Start the Keeper at the P-Spot

2. Have the keeper sprint forward to the to of the circle and back to the P-Spot.

3. The keeper must not reverse from the P-Spot to the Left Post and then sprint back to the P-Spot

4. Reverse from the P-Spot to the Right post and sprint back to the P-Spot.

Do 3 reps.

If there are more than one keepers to warm-up, use throw down markers or cones.

The keeper is to refrain from looking back or down. Eyes up and front. Spacial Perception is important here.

If the keeper tends to run into the post, rather use the throw down markers until such time as the keeper masters their perception.
