* GK is positioned just on the outside of the left post, facing forwards towards the feeder.
* Feeder is positioned just outside the right post.
* Feeder is to throw a tennis ball in the air at the GK glove height between the post and the goalkeeper.
*GK is to make a glove save into the goal.
*GK should direct the ball into the goal, they should not hit the ball with the glove but guide the ball in the direction they want it to go.
* Feeder should use an underarm throw to get the ball at the correct height.
* GK is to complete 1 set of 6 tennis balls and swap out.
* Make sure the GK always resets after each ball and has gloves up in the ready position. If needed ask the GK to move further out from the goal if they get to close.
*Footwork is very important in this drill. Make sure GK lunges forward with the leg and arm they are going to make the save on.
* GK to complete 2-3 sets of 6 balls each
*Once all sets have been completed, move the exercise over to the other side so the GK makes a right hand stick side save
