Each player stands in the middle of the "pitch" next to a ball. When the whistle is blown the player must run back to their goal, around one of the posts and then play begins. Aim is to score a goal.
Focus: 1v1 elimination skills. Control when dribbling. Tackling safely and effectively. Shooting accurately.
LA variation - One player starts with the ball under control in their own goal and begins the game as the attacker. Other player is in their goal as a defender. This will allow each player to concentrate on their specific role.
HA variation - The ball is not allowed to touch feet, stick tackles are also classed as a foul. This will ensure the contest is more like one found in a match.
